This is a short film about some of our work on adaptation to high elevation in Rocky Mountain deer mice. It was produced by Days Edge and the HHMI Biointeractive. The film also includes curricula for middle and high school students. Those materials can be found here.

This is a different edit of the material that was included in HHMI Biointeractive film above, but here the emphasis is more on the human element of the scientific work. It was produced by Day’s Edge and REI and focused more on the intersection between some our personal hobbies and scientific interests. Turns out that our hobbies can inform our work and vice versa.
